CompanyNewsletters.com offers online color proofs for free
Clients of CompanyNewsletters.com can now see online color proofs of their newsletters-in-progress for free.
"Customers really like the option of seeing color proofs online," says David Kandler, president of CompanyNewsletters.com. "Online color proofs can save customers a lot of money compared to paper proofs. Also, clients have instant access to the online proofs through e-mail or the Web. They don't have to wait to receive paper proofs in the mail."
Although online proofs are extremely accurate and offer many advantages, there is one drawback, according to Kandler.
"Computer monitors have their limitations," he says. "People should keep in mind that colors may appear slightly different on a computer screen compared to the actual printed product.
"Computer monitors only display approximations of the actual color. Usually, it's not a significant difference, but sometimes a color may appear slightly lighter or darker on screen."
Customers can receive the online proofs as an e-mail attachment or by downloading them off of CompanyNewsletters.com's Web site.
To view or print the proofs, which are created in a ".pdf" format, clients need the latest version of Adobe Reader installed on their computer. The software can be downloaded for free from Adobe's Web site.
